In Fall 2015, Dr. Daniel Cohan of Rice University first posed the question to the students of his Atmospheric Processes class: Why Not?
The question, meant to encompass a new teaching philosophy and a new way of approaching scientific quandaries, has reshaped Dr. Cohan’s class structure, allowing each student to become the teacher in a fast-paced world that is constantly being updated with new content and new discoveries. Follow air.rice.edu as Dr. Cohan’s students begin to teach each other and the world about the rapidly changing climate and energy environment in the wake of COP21, IPCC Fifth Assessment Report and the rapidly changing world views of climate and energy.
